Darleen Santore, best known as Coach Dar, is an author, board-certified Occupational Therapist, motivational speaker, and the former Mental Skills Coach for the Phoenix Suns. She works with professional athletes and CEO's around the world. As a therapist, executive advisor and mental edge coach, Coach Dar blends a knowledge of science, psychology and leadership with her personal passion for life. She is also the founder of Performance Meets Purpose Consulting. Her first book, The Art of Bouncing Back: Find Your Flow to Thrive at Work and in Life - Anytime You’re off your Game, hits shelves on February 28, 2023. “Your word, your business, your knowledge can be the very thing someone needed to keep going,” shares Darlene Santore, best known as “Coach Dar”. Darlene is an author, occupational therapist, motivational speaker, and the former Mental Skills Coach for the Phoenix Suns. She works with professional athletes and CEO’s helping them to shift their mindset, fully embrace their gifts, and overcome setbacks. As a child, she was always drawn to wanting to help others and this desire followed her into her adult life. At just 25 years old, Darlene suffered a brain bleed from a chiropractic manipulation and ended up having a stroke. Even though the prognosis was not great, she never gave up. Instead, she pushed forward even harder, wanting to use her gifts to help as many people as she could with the time she had left. She suffered two additional strokes, and even still did not stop doing everything in her power to share her gifts with the world.
